Outside of the studios Cynthia is an all-around artist and educator. She is always looking for new creative outlets and learning opportunities, dabbling in everything from textile arts and costumes to traveling and camping. She enjoys sharing her experiences and is dedicated to inspiring and educating future artists to be powerful storytellers and designers. When not out and about she can be found reorganizing and decorating her home, watching documentaries, or napping with the cat.

Cynthia Halley Art Director, Designer, Educator, Speaker.

Cynthia Halley is an LA based Art Director, Designer, & Visual Development artist for the entertainment industry. She is an alumn of Art Center College of Design and has worked with many major animation studios including Disney, Sony Pictures Animation, DreamWorks, Titmouse Animation, Nickelodeon, and for several years as Art Director at Marvel Studios.

With natural curiosity and lifelong exposure to art and engineering, she has an enthusiastic appreciation for all fields of design, and believes firmly in the benefit of cross-disciplinary-education and industry pollination. She was trained in traditional illustration as well as the entertainment arts, and both disciplines continue to influence her life-long passions of collaborative world building, visual communication, fantasy, and fun.
